Riding Lessons Website Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of our riding-lessons landing page and “Get started with riding” quiz at Chava Farms riding lessons, including the riding-lessons homepage, consultation requests and riding registration (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by Chava Farms. It provides information about riding lessons, a guide to relevant lesson options and, when available, an optional contact-request form and riding registration. It does not take payments or confirm bookings within the quiz.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAIN A DISPUTE RESOLUTION CLAUSE THAT IMPACTS YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE DISPUTES. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

Lesson guidance and contact requests

Our quiz uses the answers you select to identify relevant lesson formats for a placement conversation. Its result is guidance only, not a confirmed placement, safety clearance, medical opinion or therapeutic assessment. Our team must confirm the rider's suitability, lesson format and availability.

You can see your result without providing contact details. When the optional inquiry form is available, submitting it asks us to follow up about riding lessons by phone and email, including emailing registration and waiver details once a riding session is arranged. A name, phone number and email address are required for an inquiry, but not to view your quiz result. It does not reserve a lesson, process payment or guarantee a place. Newsletter permission requires a separate, optional opt-in.

A selected callback date and three-hour window is a preference for when to receive a call. It is not a confirmed appointment, reserved staff capacity or the length of the consultation. Our team must confirm availability; holiday or exceptional closures may affect requests.

Please provide accurate information and use your own contact details. The person submitting a contact request must be 18 or older and must be the rider, their parent or guardian, or another adult authorized to inquire for them. A parent or guardian should provide their own phone number and email when inquiring for a child. Younger riders can still view the quiz guide. This rule does not set the minimum age for lessons. Do not put medical information in the inquiry form.

Native registration collects the rider’s details and selected lesson for staff review. Prices appear during registration and do not represent a completed purchase. Booking is confirmed only once staff arrange the session and receive the required registration, emailed waiver and payment. For a rider under 18, their parent or legal guardian must submit using their own contact details. Health/support selections are optional and do not establish lesson eligibility.

Separate bookings and other services

Links may take you to our main website at chavafarms.net, booking pages, messaging platforms or other services. Those destinations may have their own terms and privacy notices. Any booking, payment, cancellation conditions or participation requirements must be confirmed through the relevant booking process. These Site terms do not replace a participation waiver or service agreement.

Privacy and contact consent

Our Riding Lessons Website Privacy Policy explains the information handled by the Site and the optional contact-request service. Accepting these Site terms does not select the contact-consent checkbox or authorize marketing emails.

Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Chava Farms and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

Limitation of Liability

Chava Farms and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Chava Farms and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

Dispute Resolution

Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms and Conditions, if you and Chava Farms are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and Chava Farms agree to submit the issue before a mediator. The decision of the mediator will not be binding. Any mediator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and Chava Farms.

Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, you and Chava Farms agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.

Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will update the effective date and post a notice on the Site when appropriate. Any required additional notice or consent will be handled separately. A change to these terms does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
